What is Encapsulation?

The encapsulating method uses a cleaning agent mixed with polymers. This mixture is actually a chemical process created by a precise ratio of chemical agents and cleaning solution. These crystal-like polymers attract grease particles and any other dirt in stains. The crystal-like containers will trap or "encapsulate" the soil and cleaning detergent. The crystallized soil will dry into a powdery substance, which is then to be vacuumed leaving a clean, fresh, new-looking carpet.

Encapsulation methods have been known to be used with very low moisture machines, otherwise known as VLM. The Oscillation motion of the Challenger allows deep cleaning of carpet fibers. The combination of VLM and Oscillating Pad Machines make the Challenger OP System a perfect candidate for these encapsulation methods.

Low Moisture / Encapsulation Carpet Cleaning

* Encapsulation is a leading technology in the carpet cleaning industry.
* Dirt is removed with the crystallizing process.
* VLM allows for a fast drying time.
* Encapsulation has no odor.
* Encapsulation method will not leave chemicals in the carpets.
* Encapsulation does not use any hazardous chemicals.
* Encapsulation is the future, and Challenger is always on the leading edge of technological advances!

Encapsulation Carpet Cleaning Process Info

Encapsulation, which is also known to carpet-cleaning professionals as crystallization, is becoming increasingly popular in commercial carpet maintenance. Crystallization/encapsulation process has shown great success as of recent. Even cleaning chemical formulators are showing much improvements in polymer based products to apply to the cleaning agent (shampoo). It's important to note that vacuuming is vital to the encapsulation process. Some believe that encapsulation may replace bonnet cleaning or hot-water extraction.

The chemistry of encapsulation is to surround every soil particle and to crystallize it so it will attract other soil. These encapsulated particles, when vacuumed, are extracted easily. There are many types of machines for carpet cleaning: low moisture machines, oscillating pad machines, self - contained and canister type extractors, cimex machines, counter rotating brush machines, encapsulation machines, rotaries, ... and some are a mixture of multiple machines, such as hot-water encapsulation or low-moisture oscillating pad machines used for encapsulation. carpet-cleaning encapsulation process In many carpet cleaning circles, encapsulation will be associated with a cleaning method, instead of a cleaning chemistry. Or it can be a mixture of the two.
